Welcome to SNAP Support and Advice Project in Suffolk!

SNAP provide a housing related support service to people living in Suffolk (excluding Waveney).

Our service is a short term service (typically up to 2 years) for people who are either homeless, at risk of homelessness or have difficulty managing their accommodation and have housing related support needs.

The support that we provide is tailored to meet the individuals needs and assists people to develop their skills to be able to live independently.  It is confidential and is free to anybody over the age of 16 who has access to public funding.

Some examples of housing related support include:

Developing life skills.

How to get involved in your local community.

Accessing education, employment or training.

How to maximise your income, including benefits, budgeting and debt advice.

Health and wellbeing.

Dealing with rent or mortgage arrears.

If you would like to make a referral for housing related support, or need some further information, please contact the Central Access and Referral Agency (CARA) on 01473 742690 or www.carasnap.org
