JD, St Edmundsbury – “All representatives of SNAP have thoroughly helped me and included me in all parts of any support plan.  I have finally, with the support, time, and effort of my SNAP worker started to get to grips with and tackle my financial and repair problems and effectively liaised with all other parties involved!”

Agency working with MM –

While speaking to a Community Psychiatric Nurse, at court this morning about my service user, we talked more generally about SNAPs work. He spoke very highly of the support worker, saying he had been impressed by her work with MM, and her ability to help her where everyone else seemed to have been unable to.

CT –

After discharge both CT and his mother thanked the support worker very much for the support he had given to CT regarding his threat of eviction and the breakdown of communication with the Council. He is now holding down a full time job and is doing well.

SDB –

After discharge, S said he could not thank SNAP enough for the support he had received with his tax debts, family problems and his threat of eviction.  He said when we first saw him he was completely stressed out and unable to cope.  As well as his flat now being secure, he said he is now also in a much better place within himself, and is able to deal with the problems he encounters on his own.

SC –

SC thanked his support worker for the help SNAP had given him, finding a new home when faced with eviction and supporting him with his detox and successful abstinence from drink.  He said other agencies who had tried to help had been condescending and not really tried to understand him.  He said SNAP were the first people to be 'real' with him and meet where he was.
